24/7 Emergency Garage Door Repair in Las Vegas

Garage doors don't break on a schedule. The spring that snaps at 11pm with your car trapped inside. The cable that gives out Sunday morning before an airport run. The door stuck wide open after a monsoon microburst, with your house exposed. When that's the situation you're in, you don't need a scheduler. You need someone who answers the phone, gives you a real ETA, and shows up.

Real Garage Door Pros runs 24/7 emergency dispatch across the entire Las Vegas valley. A live person picks up, not a voicemail, not an overseas call center. Our trucks are fully stocked, our owner David Zion is reachable after hours, and the same tech who'd come at 2pm comes at 2am with the same parts on board.

Live dispatch 24/7. Free onsite estimates. Emergency response across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Boulder City, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Sunrise Manor, Whitney, and Pahrump.

Honest Triage

What Actually Counts as a Garage Door Emergency?

Here's something most emergency garage door companies won't tell you: not every broken door is an emergency. Some problems genuinely need someone rolling out at 1am. Others can wait till morning and save you an after-hours call.

We'll always help you figure out which bucket you're in when you call, no pressure either way. But here's the honest framework we use:

Call us tonight if:

Your door is stuck wide open. Your house is exposed to weather, wildlife, and anyone walking by. This is a security emergency.
Your car is trapped inside and you need it before morning. Medical, airport, early-shift work. If you need out and can't get out, that's an emergency.
A cable snapped mid-cycle and the door is hanging crooked. Operating a door in that state can drop it on whatever's underneath.
Your commercial storefront or bay door is stuck and you can't open for business. Every hour you're closed costs money. We prioritize commercial emergencies.
The door slammed shut after a spring broke and the opener is now damaged or smoking. Electrical issue plus stuck door, unplug it now and call us.
Someone is injured or at risk. Obvious, but it happens. Call us and call 911 first if needed.

Can probably wait till morning:

A spring broke but the door is already down and your car is outside.
The remote or keypad stopped working but the wall button still operates the door.
The door is making grinding or popping noises but still opens and closes.
A single panel is bent but the door still operates safely.
The opener is acting up but the door can be operated manually.

If it can wait, you'll save on the emergency dispatch and we'll still get a truck out first thing in the morning. We'd rather save you money than book a midnight call you didn't need.

What We See Most

The 6 Most Common Emergency Calls We Run

About 95% of our after-hours calls fall into one of these six scenarios.

Spring broke at night with the car trapped inside

Most common emergency call, especially in summer. Heat-fatigued springs fail more often on hot afternoons and evenings. If you heard a loud bang and your door won't open, the spring is almost certainly done.

What we do: Arrive with both matched springs, cables, and rollers. Most spring emergencies are fixed in 60 to 90 minutes.

Cable snapped mid-cycle, door hanging crooked

Cables fail suddenly and often take the door partway with them. The door sits crooked, off the tracks on one side, and can't be operated safely.

What we do: Secure the door, replace both cables, inspect drums and rollers, realign the door, and rebalance.

Door stuck wide open

Usually from a spring failure that left the door in the up position, or from an opener failure mid-cycle. Your garage is now exposed, to weather, to anyone walking by, and to anything inside your house the garage connects to.

What we do: Diagnose the root cause, secure the door closed, and complete the repair the same visit in most cases.

Car trapped inside, door won't open

Spring, cable, opener, or off-track, any of these can pin your car in the garage. If you've got to be somewhere before morning (airport, ER, early flight), it's worth the emergency call.

What we do: We'll talk you through a manual-release procedure over the phone if it's safe, and dispatch immediately either way.

Commercial storefront or bay door blocked

Every hour your door is stuck is lost revenue. We prioritize commercial emergencies, roll-up bay doors, storefront operators, warehouse and service bay doors, loading docks.

What we do: Arrive with commercial-grade parts on the truck, diagnose fast, get you operational same visit where possible.

Monsoon or storm damage

Las Vegas monsoon season (typically July to September) brings microbursts with wind gusts that can blow doors off tracks, bend panels, or push debris into the sensors. Summer dust storms do the same.

What we do: Inspect for structural damage, realign tracks, replace bent panels or damaged hardware, test opener and sensors, and make the door operational and secure.

While the Truck Rolls

First 5 Minutes. What to Do Before We Arrive.

While we're dispatching, here's what to do (and what NOT to do) to keep the situation from getting worse:

1
Stop trying to operate the door.
A door with a broken spring, snapped cable, or damaged opener WILL get worse if you keep pressing the button. Broken cables can snap more cables. A strained opener can burn its motor. Move to manual operation only if the instructions below apply and it's safe.
2
Unplug the opener.
Find the opener motor on the ceiling, locate the cord running to the outlet, and unplug it. This prevents anyone from accidentally hitting the button and making things worse.
3
DO NOT use the emergency release if the door is open.
The red emergency release cord hanging from the opener will drop the door if the springs are broken. If the door is already up and the springs are gone, pulling the release means the full weight of the door, 150 to 400 pounds, crashes down. People have died this way.
4
If the door is closed and you need to move the car out, check the springs first.
Look up at the shaft above the door. If you see a clear two-inch gap in the spring coil, the spring is broken, do NOT pull the release. Call us and wait. If the springs look intact, you can usually pull the emergency release and lift the door manually (it'll be heavy but liftable).
5
Secure the opening if the door is stuck open.
Move anything valuable from the garage to inside the house. Close the door from the garage to the house and lock it. If you can safely lower the door manually without the spring being broken, do so.
6
Keep pets and kids away from the door.
This is the number one preventable injury scenario in a garage door emergency. Rope off the area if you have to.
7
Call us.
(702) 600-9317. We'll talk you through anything else over the phone while the truck rolls.
Why It Matters Here

Why Las Vegas Sees More Emergency Calls Than Most Cities

We run more emergency calls per capita than shops in most other markets. Four big reasons:

1
Summer heat fatigues springs faster.
A spring rated for 10,000 cycles in a temperate climate is lucky to see 7,000 out here. The 140°F garage afternoon followed by a 70°F overnight drop is brutal on the steel, and springs tend to snap during the hottest hours of the day, which is why our summer afternoon and evening emergency call volume spikes hard.
2
Monsoon season damage.
July through September brings microbursts with 60 to 80 mph wind gusts that can rip doors off tracks. Dust storms push debris into rollers and sensors. A monsoon hitting an already-fatigued system is a common path to a middle-of-the-night emergency.
3
Builder-grade parts from the 2005-2015 boom are failing.
Most Las Vegas homes built during that era were fitted with the cheapest springs, rollers, and openers the builder could source. Those parts are now 10 to 20 years old in a climate that wears them twice as fast as the national average. They're failing in clusters, and because nobody maintained them, they fail hard, all at once.
4
Higher duty cycles on larger homes.
Las Vegas homes trend to three-car garages. More doors per household means more failures per household. Heavy doors mean more strain per cycle and higher failure rates when something goes wrong.
The Real Promise

What "24/7 Dispatch" Actually Means at Real Garage Door Pros

Every garage door company in Las Vegas advertises 24/7 service. Not all of them deliver it honestly. Here's exactly what you get when you call us after hours:

A live person answers.
Not voicemail. Not "we'll call you back." Not a national call center routing you through a script. You reach a real dispatcher who knows our techs, our service area, and our truck inventory.
A real ETA, not a vague window.
We tell you when the truck will arrive based on where it is right now and where you are. If it's going to be 90 minutes, we say 90 minutes. We don't say "within the hour" when it's going to be three.
Same truck, same tech, same parts.
Our emergency trucks are stocked exactly the same as our daytime trucks. Torsion springs (Essential, Plus, Real Pro tiers), cables, rollers, opener parts, sensor kits, and the tools to install them. Most emergency jobs are one-visit fixes.
Owner-accessible.
David Zion is the owner. His phone rings if a job goes sideways. Not an account manager, not a regional rep, the owner. That's a level of accountability most shops can't match.
No dispatch bait-and-switch.
What we quote on the phone is what you pay. If something turns out to be more complex than we expected once we're on site, we'll stop, explain, and re-quote before doing the work. No "while we're here" upsells.

Pricing

After-Hours Pricing. No Surprise Fees.

Most garage door companies charge an "emergency dispatch fee," and some of them aren't honest about what it covers. Here's our approach:

Free onsite estimates, even after hours.
You're not paying us to show up. You pay when we do the work.
Modest after-hours premium may apply.
Depending on the call, the location, and the time. We disclose it on the phone before we dispatch. You'll always know the number before the truck leaves our shop.
No "technician commission" pressure.
Our techs aren't paid on commission. They have no incentive to pad quotes. The estimate you get at 2am is the estimate you'd get at 2pm.
0% APR financing through Wisetack, available 24/7.
If a late-night repair turns out bigger than you expected, you can split it across monthly payments with no hard credit pull. Application takes 60 seconds.
1-year workmanship warranty.
The same warranty we offer on daytime calls applies to every emergency repair.
